The Universal Telephony Adapter (UTA) features a built in Round Trip Delay (RTD) measurement capability.
Two UTAs can automatically determine the RTD, regardless of what network they may be analyzing. A one-way MANUAL delay
measurement is also achievable using the UTAs and Adobe Audition.
Within the GL VQuad™, an easy to use GUI allows the user to configure the UTA to perform the RTD measurement automatically
(during either Time or Digit/Tone Triggering), or manually. The results of the RTD measurements, along with the GPS time/coordinates
(if GPS is installed) can be passed to the GL VQT application automatically and included with the VQT reports and logs.
