Software Applications
Audio Processing Utility
Audio processing utility is a pre-processing application used for manipulating the input audio (tones, and voice) files with impairments
such as delay, noise, acoustic echo, line echo, and double talk. An echo file is generated if a corresponding line or acoustic echo filter is
specified. It analyzes the given coefficients files and calculates the applied delay & ERL. The degraded audio output file can then be
visually analyzed or used for further speech analysis with GL’s Voice Quality Testing, Digital Echo Canceller & other applications.

Voice Call Management Utility
GL's Voice Call Management Utility (CMU), coupled with the GL's T1/E1 Call Capture and Analysis (CCA) application, provides all the necessary
features to perform management of large volume of recorded voice calls. The CMU facilitates the job of manipulating recorded voice calls,
including sorting of calls and filtering specific types of calls based on called or calling number, time of day, or length of call.
|
DCME Test and Analysis
GL's DCME Analyzer is ideal for DCME testing, analysis, and verification. The DCME Analyzer connects non-intrusively
to the bearer side of DCME equipment. Both real-time and post-processing of the bearer signal is possible. In real-time
mode, the status of the bearer including synchronization, bearer loading, fax loading and other statistics are easily
monitored. In post processing mode, the entire DCME bearer signal is captured to the PC's hard disk, so the captured
file can then be post-analyzed. The data can be displayed to permit bit level analysis and verification of channel
mapping and implementation timing of the DCME protocol.

Client Server
GL's Windows Client/Server software allows the user of T1/E1 analysis cards, the capability of remote operation, automation, and
multi-site connectivity. T1/E1 Cards in a Server are easily controlled through software Clients at remote or local sites via TCP/IP
sockets. Connectivity can be via Dial-Up, LAN, WAN, or more typically the Internet. Server software can run multiple tasks
simultaneously at the request of the Client software. Server software runs under Windows 95, 98, 2000, and NT.

Realtime Multi-Channel Audio Driver
GL's Audio Driver allows almost any software which normally sends/receives sound to/from a sound card, to redirect the audio streams
to/from timeslots on a T1 or E1 line. The Audio Driver is an optional piece of software for GL's T1 and E1 cards and works with any sound
software such as Cool Edit, Cool Edit Pro, Windows Media Player, etc.
|
T1/E1 Development Toolkit
GL's Application Development Toolkit provides application programming interface (API) for custom T1/E1 software development. The
toolkit consists of a dynamic link library (DLL) implementing API, programmer's guide and reference manual and examples of custom
applications. The API supports Microsoft VC++ Compiler and Borland C++ Builder. The API provides a device driver interface for GL
Communication's Ultra T1/E1 Cards and Laptop T1/E1 Analyzers and high level functions to simplify applications development.
|
T1/E1 Traffic Classifier
GL's T1/E1 Traffic Classifier provides non-intrusive, real-time monitoring and classification of T1 and E1 traffic. It can classify one or
more T1/E1 lines located locally or remotely. The traffic is monitored in real-time for 16 different traffic types including silence, voice, a
variety of data modulations, fax modulations, DTMF digits, and call progress signals. Classification can be done on selected timeslots
across multiple T1/E1 lines. A multi-channel strip chart display shows traffic types and durations using a configurable color scheme.
An off-line feature can playback or fast forward through previously recorded and classified traffic data.
|
Mux/Demux Software
GL's Mux/Demux software provides the capability to multiplex individual timeslot files into one aggregate output file and the reverse
process of demultiplexing one aggregate file into individual timeslot files. The user enters the output file format, which can be any
number of channels from 2 to 24 for T1 or 2 to 32 for E1. Reverse incident occurs for demultiplexing option. While multiplexing a
frame is created with one byte from each input file. This is stored to the output file. The process is repeated until all bytes from input
files are used.

Goldwave Software
GoldWave is a sound editor, player, recorder, analyzer, and converter. Goldwave is third party software that is used with many GL'sProducts.
It allows listening, viewing, and analysis of single or dual recorded files from T1 and E1 lines. It also permits sophisticated editing of voice files.
|
Adobe Audition Software
Adobe Audition is an auxiliary (shareware) program that is useful with many GL Products and software. It allows listening, viewing,
and analysis of single or dual timeslot recorded files from T1 and E1 lines. It also permits sophisticated editing of voice files. Adobe
Audition can also be used to view real time signals with GL's PCI T1 and E1 cards (View Real time Signals).
|
File Edit Software
File Edit is an auxiliary (shareware) program that is useful with many GL Products and software. It allows viewing and analysis of
any file in binary format. This is useful for editing and viewing recorded files from T1 and E1 lines.
