Echo Canceller Testing Solutions
- AutoECTest is used to test for compliance
- AutoECTest talks via a CLI (Command Line Interface) to an RTP Toolbox Server
- RTP Toolbox Server establishes two RTP sessions with the EC under test
- Full automation requires that Rout, Sin, Rin, and Sout streams are available thru the IP interface
- For each compliance test in the G.168 test suite
- Sin and Rin signals are transmitted files with Sin being a prefabricated echo file with precise echo characteristics of
delay, filter, and attenuation derived from the stimulus file Rin
- Rout and Sout are captured files via the IP interface
- Sout is analyzed by AutoECTest and the results displayed graphically – see above links to AutoECTest
- EC control for such actions as NLP on, NLP off, etc can be done in a variety of ways – please discuss this with us
- Semi – automated operation is also possible with manual control of the EC
